Especialmente para a Milena que perguntava como a Nora esta levar a proxima chegada da sua irmazinha...Bem, como estas a ver, ela està muito curiosa!

Winter Wonderland

Just a few pictures of a beautiful winter landscape today near Deventer (Anne's birthtown). It is freezing cold here in the Netherlands(-15 at night) but very pretty as well. In spite of the cold everybody is going outside to do some skating or just to enjoy the snow and ice.

A frozen world

Last week, we have been living in a frozen world.
Frozen, because it was freezing cold during our holidays at the northern island of Schiermonnikoog. So cold that birds could scate on ice and that the Waddenzee was starting to freeze.
But frozen, also because our activities went down to an absolute minimum. Lots of sleeping, mostly, besides some nice walks and some running around the island. A very nice way to rest and start the new year with fresh energy.
